I have been a professional musician for 50 years. I currently perform with five musical groups including the Boise Philharmonic. Performing with the Boise Edelweiss Band is an additional opportunity to perform with outstanding musicians. I enjoy the musicality and the fellowship of the band members.

In my careers spanning concert and military bands, symphony orchestras, big band swing and many years of playing ethnic music, being a part of the present Boise Edeleweiss Band ranks as one of the most rewarding experiences.
The combination of playing with outstanding musicians, fun music, and meeting so many great people as we play this "good time music" makes each event something very special. So, check out our schedule or book our band and experience der gemutlichkeit !

In my musical life, I have been a soloist, section leader, sideman and soundman. I have performed in bars, churches, auditoriums, stadiums, inside, outside and even at a Gypsy funeral. I have to say, I never have as much fun as I have playing with the Boise Edelweiss Band. The amount of music that just five players create is astounding. The repertoire is varied and vital. Our leader, Harry, is passionate about this music and usually has a new arrangement for us each week. I hope everyone within earshot of the band has as much fun as I do. Al - clarinet
